Hello, and welcome to Storytelling Foundations.

This is a course that’s designed to introduce to you to a toolbox that you can use to communicate research and technical content. It’s for academic and industrial researchers, as well as people working in science communication and industries like engineering and tech.

I’m Anna Ploszajski, the founder of Storyology, and what you’re about to learn is a method of communication that I’ve developed over a decade working as an academic scientific researcher, as well as an author, presenter and journalist.

I’ve used the same techniques that you’re about to learn to win prizes at conferences, pass my PhD viva with no corrections, be awarded national level funding and write a popular science book. If you’re interested, you can read more about my background on the About page on the Storyology website.
